32nd Annual Amelia Island Antiques Show & Sale--February, 2010

This annual antiques show and sale to benefit the Amelia Island Restoration Foundation will be held at the Atlantic Avenue Recreation Center. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5. Food will be available. For more information please call King Antique Shows at (904) 269-2431.

Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance--March 12-14, 2010

An annual spring event that brings together a remarkable collection of vintage automobiles, from classic touring cars to historic race-winning one-of-a-kind vehicles.  Each event features a well-known car marquee and a world-famous Honorary Chairman.  Vehicles are displayed and judged, with prizes for Best in Show, Best in Class, and other significant categories. Easter Weekend on Amelia Island--April 10-12 , 2009

Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival--May 1-3, 2009

Each May this festival, which honors the historic shrimp industry foundations of Fernandina Beach, offers all ages an abundance of fun, great shopping, and wonderful food—all with a shrimp theme.  Over 300 juried Arts, Crafts, and Antique Vendors offer a dazzling variety of creative bargains.  Rides, games, pirate ships, and lots and lots of food booths offer something for everyone. "Mad Hatter Tea Party" Tour of Amelia Island Inns--May 9, 2009

Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival--May 21-June 14, 2009

Each year this festival offers a series of chamber music concerts at a variety of local venues.  Concerts are for all ages, and include several public performances.  The festival highlights internationally renowned artists who offer a wide range of classical and modern presentations. Fiesta de Santa Maria--September, 2009

A festival celebrating the historic Latin heritage of Amelia Island.  Held on 3rd Street, you can enjoy Latin cuisine, music, and dancing, plus a marketplace with a variety of vendors.  Call 904-261-3248 for information.

Amelia Island Fall Art Show & Wine Tasting--September, 2009

Celebrate the fall season on Amelia Island by experiencing this showcase of artistic creativity--ceramics, watercolor, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and raku. Over 100 artists display their works on Centre Street.  Have a sampling of various wines while you stroll the avenue--presented by the Palace Saloon, Intercoastal Wines, and Cafe Karibo. Open 10am-5pm.

Atlantic Coast Triathlon at Amelia Island--October, 2009

Amelia Island Jazz Festival-- October 2-11, 2009

This festival kicks off with a free concert and finishes with weekend jazz concerts featuring a wide variety of styles.  Hosted by renowned artist Les DeMerle, who assembles an all-star cast for delightful performances. (find out more)

Annual Eight Flags Car Show--October 17, 2009

Annual History of the American Soldier--November 2009

Held under the stars at historic Fort Clinch State Park, this event honors and salutes veterans of the Armed Forces with a timeline review of the American Soldier.  In the park, bring lawn chairs and blankets for a fun and informative evening.  Call 904-277-7274 for information.
