Restoration Foundation Antiques Show & Sale--Feb 15-17, 2008
The
31st Annual Antiques Show and Sale will be held at the Fernandina
Recreation Center, 2500 Atlantic Ave. Hours for the show are 10 a.m.
to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. All
proceeds benefit the Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach Restoration

Concours d'Elegance--March 7-9, 2008
An annual spring event that
brings together a remarkable collection of vintage automobiles, from
classic touring cars to historic race-winning one-of-a-kind vehicles.
Each event features a well-known car marquee and a world-famous
Honorary Chairman. Vehicles are displayed and judged, with prizes for
Best in Show, Best in Class, and other significant categories.

Flags Shrimp Festival--May 2-4, 2008
Each May this festival, which
honors the historic shrimp industry foundations of Fernandina Beach,
offers all ages an abundance of fun, great shopping, and wonderful
food—all with a shrimp theme. Over 300 juried Arts, Crafts, and
Antique Vendors offer a dazzling variety of creative bargains. Rides,
games, pirate ships, and lots and lots of food booths offer something
for everyone.

Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival--May
30-June 15, 2008
Each year this festival offers a series of chamber
music concerts at a variety of local venues. Concerts are for
all ages, and include several public performances. The festival
highlights internationally renowned artists who offer a wide range of
classical and modern presentations. Tickets can be purchased by phone
at 904-261-1779 or at the Festival Office-11 South 7th Street. A
discount is available for attendees who are staying at Hoyt House.
